What is the amount of the deposit to be paid ?

At the time of booking, you will need to pay a 25% deposit of the reservation price.

When is the balance of my rental due?

The balance is due 30 days before the arrival date (60 days for PREMIUM properties). If the booking is made less than 30 days (or 60 days for PREMIUM properties) before the arrival date, the full payment will be required.

What are the cancellation terms for my reservation ?

If you cancel more than 60 days before the start of your stay, no fees will apply. For cancellations less than 60 days before arrival, payments already made are non-refundable. During the booking process, an optional cancellation insurance will be offered to provide better protection in case of unforeseen circumstances.

What is the amount of the security deposit ? When will it be released ?

It must be completed through secure online pre-authorization, without affecting your card’s spending limit, as this amount is not debited. Access to the property will be denied if pre-authorization has not been completed at least 7 days before the start of your stay. To make your stay preparation easier and allow you to travel light, bed linens are included. They will be provided to you upon arrival for all sleeping arrangements. How do I collect the keys to my holiday rental ?

You can collect the keys to your holiday rental directly from our agency located in the centre of La Clusaz: ATHERAC LOCATION – 159 Route des Grandes Alpes, 74220 La Clusaz. During the season, our agency is open until 7 p.m. For our PREMIUM range, check-in is carried out directly at your chalet.

Are the roads cleared of snow?

Yes. The public roads are maintained by snow removal services; this service is not continuous and is interrupted during the night. Private roads are cleared afterward, sector by sector, according to the schedule of the snow removal companies.

Are snow chains required in winter ?

Between November 1st and March 31st, it is mandatory to equip your vehicle with winter tires or to have a pair of snow chains or snow socks.

What should I do in case of late arrival ?

No worries! If you plan to arrive late, our key box system at the agency will allow you to independently retrieve your key. You will need to contact us in advance to obtain your code.

How do I access my client account to manage my offers and reservations ?

We will assign you your client number via email, and you can log in to the Client Access (at the top right of the homepage). You just need to choose a password and save it for your future logins !

Are all properties located in La Clusaz?

The vast majority of our rental properties are located in La Clusaz, but we do have a few rentals outside the resort. You will benefit from the same level of service regardless of your location !

A great place to stay, with mountain charm, where we were able to get together as a family. The comfort of a very well-equipped apartment, a 10-15 minute walk from the village center or, for the less athletic, the shuttle bus. We highly recommend this accommodation.

We rented a chalet at the end of January 2026 with the Atherac agency in La Clusaz. From the phone reservation to the key handover, the staff were very professional and friendly. As for the Carolene 3 chalet, it is magnificent and remarkably clean. We had a wonderful vacation 👍🏻
