To make the most of this exceptional day, here are our expert tips :

• Plan your costume: the more original, the better ! Rent or buy costumes and accessories at Le Bal Masqué, located in the Salon d'Honneur of the Tourist Office : the day before from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Carnaval Day rom 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Face painting will also be available at the Tourist Office from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Registration in person, subject to availability.

• Dress warmly: even though the atmosphere is hot, mountain temperatures remain chilly.

• Walk whenever possible: the village will be bustling, and the Route des Grandes Alpes will be closed for the parade, so walking is the best way to soak in the experience.
